Kumabaits exists at the intersection of high-performance angling and sharp cultural satire. We hand-craft caricature fishing lures modeled after the biggest names in politics and pop culture, because tackle boxes were getting boring, and someone had to fix that.
Every generic lure looks the same. same colors, same shapes, same shelf.
We wanted to build something people would actually talk about, a lure that’s a punchline and a real piece of tackle at the same time.
So we started sculpting faces you’d recognize onto bodies built to swim, wobble, and hook fish just like the real thing.
The result: Donald Trout, our first release, and proof that satire and serious craftsmanship aren’t mutually exclusive.
Every Kumabait is individually hand-cast in small batches in Italy, weighted for real swimming action, and finished with premium hooks. We test each one in water before it ships, because a lure that only looks funny on a shelf isn’t good enough. It has to fish, too.
Donald Trout is just the start. More faces, more punchlines, more drops are already in the works. Kumabaits it’s a growing lineup of collectible, small-batch lures, one caricature at a time.
